Every NORCIS initiative follows the same logic: start with the people who understand the problem, put capable builders against it, and move quickly from analysis to something that can be tested in the field.

    Teams define what they will build, how they will test it and where it could fail.

    Teams find their first users and choose a route through defence procurement or the dual-use market.

    Teams present their venture case to investors and industry experts.

How each evening runs.

  • 17:00 to 17:45

    Talking Stage: keynote

    A partner expert introduces the evening's theme and gives teams a framework to use.

  • 17:45 to 18:15

    Talking Stage: founder story and Q&A

    A founder or practitioner shares how they tackled the same step in practice.

  • 18:15 to 19:00

    Dinner Stage

    Participants, speakers and mentors eat together and discuss how the insights apply to their own ventures.

  • 19:00 to 21:00

    Working Stage

    Teams work hands-on on the session deliverable, supported by mentors who challenge assumptions and help define next steps.
